Ingredients
  

  • teaspoons instant yeast
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter for brushing
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley

Method
 

  1. Combine the warm milk, sugar, and instant yeast in a large bowl.
  2. Add the melted butter, salt, and flour. Mix until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces and roll each into a smooth ball.
  5. Arrange the dough balls in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  6. Cover and let rise for about 10 minutes.
  7. Mix the melted butter with the minced garlic.
  8. Brush the tops of the rolls generously with the garlic butter.
  9. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning.
  10. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 18 to 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  11. Brush with a little more garlic butter after baking.
  12. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.

Notes

  • Instant yeast works best for the quick rise.
  • Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best flavor.
  • Do not over-flour the dough or the rolls may become dense.
  • Cover loosely while rising to prevent drying out.
  • Brush with butter immediately after baking for extra softness.
